My Devon cottage is a grade 2 listed mid-terraced thatched house in the beautiful and historic mid-Devon village of Winkleigh.

It has retained much of its old world charm and character with features including original ceiling beams and a superb stone inglenook fireplace.

From the front door can be seen Dartmoor, approximately ten miles away with the rear of the property abutting the church yard of Winkleighs impressive 15 th century church.

The sitting room (approx 16 feet by 14 feet) is heated by a wood burning stove and to the left of its fireplace, a curved staircase leads to the two upstairs bedrooms (one double/one single).

In two raised levels to the rear of the living room are the dining area and recently fitted kitchen and bathroom with an electric shower.

A decked courtyard garden off the kitchen is an ideal place to enjoy some al fresco dining with the chiming of the church clock the only likely accompaniment in this tranquil and historic mid-Devon village.
